School Registration Information
 
Are you a new student going to attend Potomac Senior High School next year?  Wondering what to do first to enroll?  The first thing to do is get an appointment by calling 703-441-4269 between 8:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m after July 8, 2013.

Panther Mentor?
 
Potomac Senior High School needs outstanding Juniors and Seniors to be Panther Mentors!  If you think you have what it takes to guide a young person in the quest for education and activities at PSHS, fill out the application from the link below.  Send the completed application Mr. Roseboro and schedule an interview.  He will interview candidates between June 24 and June 26, 2013.  For additional information or questions, contact Mr. Roseboro at rosebodm@pwcs.edu.


Summer School SOL Remediation!
 
A two-week SOL Remediation course will be held for all end-of-course tests and the SOL will be administered at the end of the class. Students enrolled in a Virginia Public School and who have passed the high school tested course may also register to take the SOL test only.


This is offered free to Prince William County School students!  Information about the entire Prince William County Summer School program is linked below and the SOL Remediation course is on Page 7.

Rising Senior and Parent Breakfast!
 
Class of 2014 students and parents should plan to attend an information breakfast on August 21, 2013 beginning at 8:00 am at Potomac Middle School in the cafeteria.

Students and parents are asked to RSVP through their "Naviance Family Connections" account beginning in early August, 2013.  For more information, contact Ms. Williamson, williamv@pwcs.edu.

Student's Rights to Special Programs and Services
 
The Prince William County Public Schools Division is required to inform the community of a student’s right to a free, appropriate public education and the availability of programs and services, including a special education.



Final Exam Bell Schedule!
 

Final Exams for Seniors will begin on June 3, 2013 and for underclassman, June 13, 2013.

Concussion Education Class
 
A Prince William County Schools "Concussion Education Class" is required for all athletes prior to completing in an activity for your school.  This is in addition to a completed physical.

The remaining class will be sponsored by Potomac Senior High School on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 7:00 pm.  Both the athlete and a parent must attend the meeting.




D.C. United Student Achiever Night
 
D.C. United is providing discount tickets to students for the June 22, 2013 game vs the San Jose Earthquakes with a portion of the money being donated back to Potomac High School!

You must drop your old classes in School Fusion. After you login to your student account, click on My Account then My Personal Settings. On the Fusion Pages tab click the red x to remove yourself from your old classes.

Need to change your email address?
You must log into Parent Portal then click on Settings to change your email address. It will sync overnight with School Fusion.

Register for your new Parent Portal account today!  All parents should have a Parent Portal account. 

Click on the Parent Portal link at the left of the web page to register for a new account or to log into your activated account.

Bring your email confirmation to Potomac for activation any school day from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
1) If you created an account last year, it is still the same user name and password this year.
2) Need to update your email address or change your password? Click on settings at the top right of the Parent Portal screen.
3) Student Schedule Changes: The old classes will always appear in the Schedules tab but will be italicized.  Under the Assignments tab, the assignments from the old class will be dropped at the end of the marking period.
4) Grades are updated overnight every night seven day a week.

Student Parking Permits!

Student parking permits for the 2012 / 2013 school year are now on sale.  The cost is $100.00 per permit.  Any student parking on school grounds, must have a permit!

Registration forms and permits may be obtained in the Potomac Senior High School front office.
